Party Floor Registration

Calgary downtown skyline

Calfurry will be hosting a party floor for those who are okay being on a noisier floor.

Ready to whoop it up at Calfurry this year? This is the place to register! We are now accepting applications for the party floor, please review the details below and apply before the deadline of May 9th @ midnight mst.

Whether your party is invite-only or open to the public, Calfurry’s Code of Conduct requires all room parties on the party floor to be registered. This helps us coordinate with the hotel to keep things fun, safe, and at a noise level that works for everyone.

You may still host a room party otherwise, but could be subject to greater scrutiny and noise complaints from the hotel. Registering your party allows us to put you on the second floor and help keep you from running afoul of hotel security or Calfurry Health & Safety, and keeping traffic and noise to a reasonable level for other hotel guests.

Room Party Hosting Requirements

  • Location: If you qualify, we’ll work with the hotel to place you on the official Room Party Floor on the second floor of the tower. You must have a confirmed registration at the Glenmore Inn, and the person on the hotel's guest register must be the one applying.
  • Orientation: Hosts must attend a mandatory orientation in order to receive their room key during hotel check-in. Your party must be respect the hotel's quiet hours after 1am.
  • Open Parties: If your party is open to all Calfurry attendees, you’ll need to complete volunteer training and sign a liability waiver. If it's private or invite only, you still will register it

Access Rules

  • Room party floor access is restricted to registered adult Calfurry guests.
  • Badge checks may be enforced during late-night hours
  • Hosts are responsible for verifying the age and registration status of their guests. Wristbands will be provided to help with this.

Important Inforamtion

  • The room party list will not be shared or published. Promotion of your party is solely up to you.
